On 28 July 1960, it was declared by the government of Malaysia that the hibiscus would be the national flower. The Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is literally known as the "celebratory flower"...
and celebrate we shall.

Patience do not only help us through hardships but will also cure. Quran Al Baqarah 2:155 - "and We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient"
Have sabr... and Du'aa... Allah says, "Call upon me; I will respond to you. Indeed, those who are proud to worship Me will enter Hell in humiliation" - Quran Al Ghafir 40:60
Therefore, repent, supplicate and du'aa..
"Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron" - Quran Ar Ra'd 13:11

The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help.
Keep us on the right path.
The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors.
Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.

Combretum indicum, also known as the Chinese honeysuckle or Rangoon creeper, one of mom's favourite. No more there now.
Found this growing wildly in her garden, but had to clean them up... neighbour not happy about the unkept garden.
